General Requirements
List of required documents for inviting foreigners by legal entities:
- Visa application on the company letterhead of the established sample;
- Electronic questionnaire from the site evisa.mfa.uz:
- Copies of passports of the invited person, the head of the organization and the authorized person of the organization, for the submission of documents;
- Copies of documents for the organization (license, certificate, certificates, etc.);
- Copies of orders for the head and authorized person;
- A copy of the organization's power of attorney for an authorized person;
- When applying for a visa upon arrival at Tashkent airport, you must also provide copies of air tickets or reservations;
- Certificate from the place of work of the invited person.
To obtain an investment visa, an applicant legal entity with foreign investment, in addition to the above documents, also provides one of the following certificates:
- on the amount of the acquired shares of business entities (issued by the State Enterprise Central Securities Depository);
- on the size of the acquired shares of business entities, as well as on the creation of enterprises with foreign investments in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan (by the State Services Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan or its territorial branches).
List of required documents for inviting foreigners by individuals:
- Visa application of the established form;
- Electronic profile from the site evisa.mfa.uz;
- Copies of passports of the invited and inviting person;
- The original notice of invitation issued by the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
- Copies of documents confirming family ties (if any);
- When applying for a visa upon arrival at the Tashkent airport, you must also provide copies of air tickets or reservations.
The term for consideration of applications of legal entities and individuals in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is 10 working days, subject to the established procedure for submitting documents.
To obtain a visa, foreign citizens and stateless persons must submit the following documents to the diplomatic mission or consular office of Uzbekistan abroad:
· Passport or document of a stateless person, the validity of which must exceed the validity of the visa by at least 3 months;
· Completed visa application form in 2 copies;
· 2 passport size color photographs.
To obtain a transit visa, foreign citizens and stateless persons, in addition to the above documents, must also have a visa of the state of destination and travel documents with a confirmed date of departure from Uzbekistan to the country of destination. The term for consideration of visa documents in this case is 3 days.
Foreign citizens and stateless persons intending to arrive in Uzbekistan from a country where there is no diplomatic mission or consular office of Uzbekistan can obtain visas upon arrival in the visa support sector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Tashkent international airport. To do this, the inviting legal or natural person who is on the territory of Uzbekistan must apply in advance in the established manner to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, receive the corresponding confirmation (stamp) from the visa department of the Consular Department and send it to the invited person.
This confirmation is presented by the invited person when purchasing an air ticket, passing through passport control in the host country and, on its basis, a visa is issued for him upon arrival in the visa support sector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Tashkent international airport.
For the processing and issuance of visas, the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan provides for the following consular fees:
a) For single entry visas:
· Up to 7 days - USD 40;
· Up to 15 days - $ 50;
· Up to 30 days - 60 USD;
· Up to 3 months - $ 80;
· Up to 6 months - $ 120;
· Up to 1 year - 160 US dollars.
Note: for each additional visa multiplicity, the rate increases by $ 10.
b) For multiple entry visas:
· Up to 6 months - USD 150;
· Up to 1 year - USD 250.
c) For transit visas:
· Up to 72 hours - $ 40;
· For a double-entry transit visa - USD 50.
d) For group visas (there must be at least 5 people in a group, excluding children under 16):
· Up to 15 days - 15 US dollars per person;
· Up to 30 days - $ 25 per person.
g) For tourist visas:
- up to 30 days - 40 US dollars;
When issuing visas, fees are also charged to reimburse the actual costs associated with issuing visas. The amount of such fees depends on the place of issuance of visas (regardless of the citizenship of the applicant).
Note: For urgent visa support, the above rates increase by 50% of the cost of the visa.
Note: For citizens of states with which there are relevant bilateral agreements and arrangements, a different procedure for issuing entry visas to the Republic of Uzbekistan may be provided.
The Consular Section reserves the right to refuse to issue a visa without giving reasons.
