Consular account
Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and citizens without citizenship, who are constantly living or temporarily living on the border, will be assigned to a consular institution on a permanent or temporary consular account.
Registration for permanent or temporary consular registration of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons is carried out in the consular office on the territory of the consular district of which they are staying.
Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons in case of moving to the territory of the consular district of another consular institution in another state in connection with a change of permanent residence, as well as in connection with work, study, business trip and for reunification with their family for a period exceeding six months must withdraw from the consular registration (permanent, temporary) at the place of previous stay and register with the consular office at the new place of stay.
Temporary consular registration procedure
Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons permanently registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan and temporarily staying abroad for more than six months are subject to temporary consular registration at consular institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad for the purpose of staying on a business trip, study, treatment, work and reunification with their family.
To register citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons for temporary consular registration, a registration card (in the form of an electronic questionnaire) is filled out on the website of the diplomatic mission or consular mission abroad or on the interactive website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan www.consulate.mfa.uz. Scanned versions of the following documents are attached to the completed electronic application form:
- passport (biometric, non-biometric sample), biometric passport for traveling abroad or travel document;
- birth certificate of children under the age of 16 (in the absence of a non-biometric passport, biometric passport, biometric passport for traveling abroad and a travel document);
- a copy of the page of the non-biometric passport of one of the parents, where the child was entered (for persons who went abroad being entered in the non-biometric passports of one of the parents);
- a document confirming the legality of the stay of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan or a stateless person on the territory of a foreign state in accordance with the requirements of its legislation (visa, residence permit, temporary residence permit, corresponding marks in the passport, certificates, etc.);
- a copy of the order or travel certificate (for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons who have gone abroad on a business trip);
- certificate from the place of study or other supporting documents (for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons who went abroad to study);
- medical documents (medical certificates, invitation from a medical institution, etc.) issued by medical institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan or the host state (for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons who have gone abroad for treatment);
- certificate from the place of work or a copy of the employment contract (for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons who have gone abroad to work);
- a copy of the marriage registration certificate (for citizens who have gone abroad in order to reunite with their families) and the birth certificate of minor children (if there are children from a joint marriage).
Temporary consular registration is confirmed by a notice of temporary consular registration, which contains the following data: barcode, full name. of the applicant, type of consular registration (temporary), number and date of registration, validity period of registration, name of the foreign establishment that has accepted for consular registration. The received notification must be printed and stored in the passport.
For temporary consular registration, consular fees and fees for reimbursement of actual expenses are not charged.
Permanent consular registration procedure
Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons discharged from the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the established procedure for permanent residence abroad and who left the country according to the address sheet of departure (including citizens and stateless persons who have left for the country CIS until June 30, 2017) or a sticker of a permit to travel abroad for permanent residence,as well as citizens who have issued a permit to travel abroad for permanent residence through diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad, without leaving the host country.
To register citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and stateless persons for permanent consular registration, a registration card (in the form of an electronic questionnaire) is filled out on the website of a diplomatic mission or consular mission or on the interactive website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan www.consulate.mfa.uz.

- a copy of the departure sheet or a sticker with the entry "Dоimiy yashashga ketishga ruxsat berildi" pasted into a biometric, non-biometric passport or travel document issued by the departments of the internal affairs bodies;
- a document confirming the legality of the stay of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan or a stateless person on the territory of a foreign state in accordance with the requirements of its legislation (visa, residence permit, temporary residence permit, corresponding marks in the passport, certificates, etc.).
Permanent consular registration is confirmed by a notice of permanent consular registration, which contains the following data: barcode, full name. applicant, type of consular registration (permanent), number and date of registration, the name of the foreign establishment that has taken on consular registration.
The received notification must be printed and stored in the passport.
For permanent consular registration, consular fees and fees are charged to reimburse actual costs.
